Tax Services

“Our clients are as diverse as our staff, and we’ve become very good at collaborating to leverage our individual experiences for the client’s benefit.  The businesses are often complex and so is the personal wealth attached to an individual’s success within the business. We don’t do plain vanilla tax returns.”

– Stephen D. Ritchie, CPA, Director

What can we say that you haven’t heard before? We strategize with clients to help meet and exceed their expectations for sound personal, estate and business taxes, just as other accounting firms do.

The BLS difference? We offer a depth of intellectual capital unmatched by others with a focus on planning, not preparation. Our firm’s history and professional talent offer the experience our clients have come to rely on without hesitation.

That’s because we’re not only experienced; we’re constantly listening and maximizing our knowledge base. In fact, we attend national conferences, as well as local continuing professional education seminars and webinars annually, and our CPAs often present at industry events.

    • Does your ERISA 403(b) Plan need a financial statement audit?

Many nonprofits who sponsor ERISA 403(b) plans are not aware that they need an audit, because counting participants involves much more than knowing how many full-time employees the organization has or how many account balances are in the plan.
