Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, P.A. (BLS), a certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in Delaware and Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce that the AICPA National Peer Review Committee has accepted the report on the most recent system peer review for our firm. The Peer Review report had a peer review rating of “pass,” which is the 12th consecutive “pass” opinion the firm has received. The Peer Review process occurs every 3 years and a “pass” rating is the highest rating possible (firms can receive a rating of pass, pass with deficiency(ies), or fail) which reflects the diligent efforts and commitment to quality throughout our firm. The AICPA Peer Review Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing, and attestation services performed by AICPA members in public practice. All firms must establish and maintain appropriate quality control policies and procedures and comply with those policies and procedures to ensure the quality of the services they provide to the public.
