Barry A. Crozier, CPA
Managing Director
As managing director, Barry is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational and client service efforts. Under his direction, the firm has undertaken several large initiatives including an office move, an expansion into another state and merging with another local accounting firm. During Barry’s tenure, the firm has received multiple community service awards, most notably the Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business award from the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and Best in the Business – Best Place to Work from the News Journal. In 2009, Barry was the recipient of the distinguished Marvin S. Gilman Bowl from the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Barry has worked in the areas of tax, audit, small business accounting, loan acquisition, litigation support and corporate services for investment holding companies. He specializes in assisting clients with litigation support matters, corporate tax and management issues and corporate service matters for Delaware investment holding companies.
Barry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA), the Wilmington Tax Group, the Delaware Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Presently, Barry is past-president for the Estate Planning Council of Delaware for the 2009-2010 year. He has held multiple leadership positions, including serving as president of the DSCPA and serving as treasurer and board member of Delaware Estate Planning Council and the AICPA Council. Barry has also served as a board member and treasurer for the North American board of IGAF Worldwide.
Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science degree in taxation from Widener University. In 1975, he was awarded his Certified Public Accountant certificate by the state of Delaware.
Within the community, Barry has served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, served as treasurer and chairman of his church’s Administrative Board and served on his denomination’s regional board. He is currently the treasurer and on the board of the Neighborhood House, Inc. Barry has personally been recognized for his contribution to the community by being a receipient of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s Gilman Bowl, University of Delaware’s Lerner College presented the prestigious Alumni Award of Excellence and Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (DSCPA) Public Service Award.
