With more than 25 years experience in public accounting, clients, industry groups and the media frequently turn to Jordon for information and advice about the latest tax laws. Jordon, who joined the firm’s tax department in 2000, specializes in tax and financial planning matters affecting businesses, individuals, estates and trusts. He also consults with nonprofit organizations on planned charitable giving matters. A licensed CPA in Pennsylvania and Delaware, Jordon has written numerous tax-related articles for local and national publications and given tax presentations to various industry groups. He is active in several professional organizations, including the Delaware State and Chester County Estate Planning Councils, the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA), the Society of Financial Service Providers and the Wilmington Tax Group where he has held leadership roles in most of these organizations. Within the community, Jordon has served on the planned giving committee of the Delaware Community Foundation and the American Cancer Society and is a past vice president of the Jewish Community Center of Delaware. Jordon received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Temple University and his Master of Science degree in Taxation from Widener University. |
