Marketing & HR Coordinator

BLS is seeking a Marketing & HR Coordinator, with a high degree of interest in becoming part of one of the largest public accounting firms in Delaware. Individuals with a fresh, energetic, technically-savvy approach to processes and support for marketing and HR administrative functions are encouraged to apply to a company that looks for talent and rewards effort at every staff level.

Sample Project Opportunities
  • Supporting marketing strategy through external, internal, and client communications
  • Updating and distributing electronic communications (e.g., blog posts, eNewsletters, etc.), including mailings for newsletters, seminars, notices, and client service information through our e-distribution system (BlueHornet)
  • Updating website (WordPress) and social media accounts
  • Updating content of marketing materials
  • Supporting public and media relations efforts, including media and press releases
  • Coordinating and following up on marketing events, assisting with niche meetings and related marketing tasks, and assisting with advertising placement and needs
  • Preparing presentation materials, sales letters, proposals, and sales packages
  • Assisting with the promotion of events, including coordination of details for seminars, lunches, speaking engagements, and trade shows
  • Managing internal contact database and marketing software tools and providing tracking and analytical reporting
  • Assisting with RFP response process, including preparation through distribution of proposals
  • Researching industry trends in our target markets
  • Assisting with college recruiting, including applicant tracking/reporting, coordinating onsite and offsite interviews, and preparing recruiting materials
  • Providing administrative assistance to HR on an as needed basis
What We Look For
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, human resources, or related field is preferred
  • Six months – three years of recent experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and e-media tools, including navigating the Internet, website (WordPress), social media platforms, and e-distribution systems
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities with little direct supervision
  • Enthusiastic, with a strong ability to contribute to creative planning and an eagerness to get involved, learn new things, and conceptualize new ideas
  • Experience working with Adobe Create Suite, WordPress, social media platforms, and/or HR management systems a plus
