On January 1, 2018, Kathy Dean-Bradley, CPA was named a Director and Shareholder of Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, P.A. as voted on by the directors of the firm.
During her career, Kathy has developed a specialized expertise in the tax and accounting needs of small businesses, trusts, and estates, with a concentration in medical practices, professional service firms, and real estate investors, which has helped to expand the firm’s services and reinforce its capabilities in these areas. By combining an analytical background with a progressive approach in solving client problems, Kathy offers exceptional strategic planning and tax compliance services for those businesses and individuals. This experience has helped Kathy hone her skills in advising high-net-worth individuals and allows her to not only develop new business opportunities with clients in many different industries but to also build upon her strong professional and client relationships.
Throughout the year, Kathy engages her clients in the planning and accounting process in order to work as a team to help improve efficiencies and reduce their financial concerns. “Successful client relationships always result from collaborative efforts with the clients and their advisors,” she says. “I embrace the challenges that each unique client situation brings.” Her ability to connect with people and offer practical and creative solutions goes beyond tax compliance and can touch on all aspects of business and individual needs.
Kathy is a member of the Delaware Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the Chester County Estate Planning Council, where she is Treasurer. She also serves as Chester County Community Foundation finance chair and board member, Global Cataract Relief Foundation treasurer, and Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania troop leader. Kathy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Masters degree from Colorado State University. She resides in Landenberg, Pennsylvania with her family.
