About the Highmark Walk
Highmark hosts a 5k walk at the Riverfront in Wilmington on June 8th and local non-profits solicit walkers and donations for the event. Highmark covers the cost of the event so FH earns 100% of the proceeds they solicit. Last year, FH raised over $90,000 and had over 600 registered walkers. It’s a great family fun event for the community!
The benefactor of the 2024 Delaware Walk for a Healthy Community event is Friendship House, Inc.
